MICHAEL FARRUGGIA: A SHORT STATEMENT
During the day, my time is spent working as an IT Consultant for a large corporation. During the night, my time is spent in grad school classes so that I can get an M.B.A. But in my spare time, my thoughts always drift to photography and travel. Even when I am walking around these NYC streets, I am framing different shots and compositions in my mind.
To me, nothing is better than combining my two greatest pleasures in life: photography and travel. I love capturing the natural beauty and cultures of exotic lands so that everyone can share in my experiences. What I lack in fancy equipment, I make up for with hard work, patience and an artistic eye. I currently specialize in travel, nature and wildlife photography but I am always trying new ideas to expand my work.
So far I have been to over 20 countries in the past 5 years. I plan on keeping up with this pace until I die or run out of money....which ever comes first. I dream that one day I can turn my passion for photography into a career and for once enjoy working for a living. I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs just as much as I enjoyed taking them.
